My name is Aisling Davis (ní Goodison), an accredited therapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have over 13 years experience of working therapeutically with clients, who have experiences anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. I am an Integrative therapist, creating an safe space for clients to explore their issues and symptoms in a way that meets them as individuals.

As a Somatic Experiencing ™ Practitioner I support clients to explore how their nervous system supports them in times of stress and trauma, recognising where symptoms such as anxiety and depression are rooted, and working through these to a place of healing.

I am also a Mindfulness Facilitator, creating programmes for adults and creative mindfulness programmes for children. These support adults and children to create practices promoting self compassion and resilience in dealing with day to day stress and emotions. I am currently studying to be Breathwork facilitator to further support my work with clients both in my therapeutic work and mindfulness courses.

The foundation of all of my work is Self Compassion. When we experience anxiety, depression, stress and trauma, we often become critical of ourselves, begin to isolate ourselves, or become less able to look after ourselves and often our relationships suffer. Through my therapeutic work, Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes and Mindfulness sessions, clients are invited to develop their self compassion practices for increased resilience and wellbeing, reducing symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.
