Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Courses and Workshops

Self Compassion

This course draws from mindfulness and Somatic therapeutic practices. Participants are encouraged to reflect on supports they have in their lives, stressors they experience, and different forms of self care practices that promote self compassion and regulation.

Self Compassion for Carers

All too often as family carers and professional carers / health workers, focus on the care of others to the neglect of ourselves. This course is a gentle reminder to bring some attention to our needs, so we can be the best of ourselves in our roles.

Sensory Emotional Development

This kids course helps children develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, how they experience their emotions in their body and supports them when they have difficult feelings.

Rest and Restore

This course is designed for those who find resting difficult or who find Winter difficult. In the course participants are introduced to practical ways of supporting rest; information about the importance of rest; signs you may need a rest and explores the theme of Winter / rest in nature.

Mental Health for Men

This relaxed, interactive workshop supports men to understand the importance of taking care of their mental and emotional health and reaching out for support when needed. This workshop can be used for Health and Safety Certification*

Transitions for Kids

This course, gives children moving to secondary school the chance to talk about their fears,  learn practical ways to support this transition.

This can be adapted for other age groups / transitions.

Mindfulness and Creative Mindfulness Workshops and Courses

Introduction to Mindfulness

For those who have not had any or had little experience of mindfulness. Participants are guided to introduce mindfulness into their day to day lives alongside self compassion and gratitude practices.

Mindful Parenting

In this course, parents will develop their connection to themselves and their children, building stronger relationships, and confidence in their parenting, and other life wide benefits.

Creative Mindfulness

Children and teens are supported to develop a mindfulness practice through age appropriate creative actitivies. These practices support the participants social, emotional, psychological and physical health.

Breathwork Courses

Breathwork for Beginners

This programme introduces participants to breathwork and the regulation that functional breathing can create. With information about how to breath more efficiently and practices to promote this, participants will be supported to make regulating breathwork a part of their daily lives.

Advanced Breathwork

Following on from the Breathwork for beginners, this course deepens the practice of breathwork and includes some activating breathwork exercises to release stress and support healing from trauma, with the support of a mental health professional facilitator.
